MyGov gives you the platform to participate in an eGreetings contest to design templates for Guru Nanak’s Birthday.

Gurpurab, one of the most sacred festivals of the Sikh community, is marked by celebration over 3 days, to commemorate the birth of Guru Nanak, the first Sikh Guru. This year on Guru Nanak’s birthday, spread the Guru’s teachings and messages by designing eGreetings templates.

Last Date of Submission is 10th November 2016, 11:00am.

The top 3 designs will be awarded a cash prize as under:

1. First Prize - Rs. 10,000/-
2. Second Prize - Rs. 7,500/-
3. Third Prize - Rs. 5,000/-

Terms and Conditions

1. Submissions should be in the portrait layout with the minimum size 10x12cm.

2. All designs shortlisted by the Standing Committee, after eliminating unsuitable entries, would be published on the portal.

3. Based on actual usage, (i.e. citizen’s choice/acceptability) over the period 11th November 2016 – 25th November 2016, the top 3 designs for each of the 4 categories will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,500/- and Rs. 5,000/- respectively.

4. Subsequently, only the top 5 most used designs will be retained on the portal.

5. Entries should be original. Individuals submitting copied entries would not be considered for future contests.

This greeting have a picture of Sewadar in the name of Guru nanak ji with a background image of Golden temple which is sacred place for sikhs showing the day of celebration i.e Gurupurabh. It also have the symbol of "Ek onkar" in multicolor predicting the unity among the sikhs below which "Guru granth sahib"-religious scripture of Sikhism is shown to respect their religion. #gurupurab2016
